Hi Omar,
Sounds like we have enough cable to wire the olympics. I think we can use the
stuff you brought from moc. The blue wire is belden 9463 but it sounds like
you did not bring any back. We can use the 18awg 2 cond shielded cable 8262
that you have for the data hiway. we need 2 twisted pair for the rs-485 if we
don't have that belden 9842 we can use the mts style control cable (037244-01
load cell). I assume that's what you mean by mts style control cable. I will
bring solenoid cables with me so I think all that's left to hook up it the
temp probe (any 3 cond) and press xdcr (2 twisted pair) also the limit
switches (any 2 cond). Temp probe and press xdcr are short runs to the main
plc box (I think, Jim?) and limit switches are someware on the parking frame
and run to the parking frame electric box in the pit. As you may know from
Rod, system press and temp will be small LCD displays in the control room
connected to the digital I/O drawer (remote plc) by 2 cond cable only. Display
is about 3.5" x 6" wide and about 4" deep. Catalog sez readable from 30 ft we
will need to find some place to mount them on a wall or some other out of the
way place. Thank Jim for the offer of a ride for me. Hope you are all well.
Tom.
